ZOLLER presetters or measuring machines equipped with the "saturn" vision system can easily set tools to nominal dimensions with micron (m) accuracy. The dynamic crosshairs jumps to the tool cutting edge and displays on the axes counter in real time the actual position and location of the cutting edge. If the cutting edge is adjusted by the operator, this is immediately sent to the axes counter. If working with "toolmanager", nominal tool dimensions will be available for the tools that need adjustment. Further, the functionality of the ZOLLER vision system is such that it can display the difference between the actual position of the cutting edge and the nominal dimension in form of a scalable, color tool focusing bar. This level of user-friendliness greatly reduces the chances of operator error.
