In the area of presetters and measuring machines, the equipment is designed to handle tools horizontally. ZOLLER’s presetter "hyperion" feature various turret sizes, depending on diameter. ZOLLER turrets, despite pneumatic or electronic operation, can rotate continuously. This is possible by means of a special docking station that avoid tangled cabling and does not impose rotational limits. Another ZOLLER feature is extra support for the turret to prevent bending (distortion) when especially heavy tools are mounted on the turret. Further, ZOLLER presetters used with the turret use double-ended clamping. This greatly simplifies securing such tools and makes them much more readily accessible.
